The police investigation appeared to be lacking. The father was charged with domestic abuse 4 months prior to the disappearance. I would expect the husband to be the prime suspect and the house to have already had a warrant served and searched. Finding blood on the stairs several weeks later makes me wonder why it took so long to search the house.
